Austin City Showgirls: Mission

Abel Sanchez and Pedro Hernandez established the Austin City Showgirls with a duty of educating the principals of all genres of dance and music, introducing a new age of performance and entertainment, generating new creativity, to the performing arts, nationally and internationally.

With the guidance of its founders and directors the corporation is devoted to their vision by pursuing its foremost objectives:

• serve and offer prime dance and performing arts education to the city of Austin and its surrounding communities, nationally, and internationally;
• supplement and encourage, in an optimistic atmosphere, all students in gaining wisdom to their soaring potential, artistically and scholastically, acquiring a confident foundation for life endeavors and the values thereof;
• conserve dance, performance and entertainment aesthetic, and the pinnacle of excellence crafted by its founders;
• increase new opus, concentrating on the inspired talents of dancers, singers, entertainers and choreographers.

This undertaking is guided by a dedication to broaden the corporation’s audience and make the performing arts available to an expansive probable public through touring performances, edification programs, the inventive use of media, and additional benevolent exertions.
